Getting Started as a Supervisee

As a supervisee, Oasis helps you organize your learning, submit supervision materials, and track your fieldwork hours in one place.

After logging in, you'll have access to curriculum modules, video submission tools, messaging, meetings, and time tracking. Your dashboard provides a clear overview of your progress and pending tasks.

Using the Curriculum

Your assigned curriculum modules guide your learning throughout supervision.

To begin a module, open the Course section and select the module you've been assigned. Each module starts with a pre-test, which must be completed before lesson content becomes available. After reviewing the lesson materials, you'll complete a post-test to finish the module.

Your progress is saved automatically and shared with your supervisor.

Submitting Videos and Reviewing Feedback

Oasis allows you to submit supervision videos and receive detailed feedback from your supervisor.

To upload a video, open the Video section and select New.Choose your file, add any relevant comments, and link the video to the appropriate module. Once uploaded, the video will be available for supervisor review.

When feedback is provided, you can view it by opening Reviewed Videos and selecting the video title. Feedback appears as timestamped comments, allowing you to review specific moments and suggestions.

Messaging and Meetings

You can communicate with your supervisor directly through Oasis.

The Messages feature allows you to send and receive messages without leaving the platform, keeping supervision communication organized and documented.

The Meetings and Calendar features show upcoming supervision meetings. From here, you can view meeting details, join scheduled sessions, and keep track of your supervision schedule.

Logging and Tracking Fieldwork Hours

Accurate time tracking is a key part of supervision.

To log hours, open the Time-Tracker and create a new entry. You'll record the date, supervision activity, supervisor, and duration, along with required supervision details. Once submitted, hours remain unreviewed until your supervisor approves them.

Approved hours appear in your history. If you need to correct an entry, you can request a change directly from the platform.

The Hours Overview dashboard provides a visual summary of your progress, including your total fieldwork hours, restricted and unrestricted hour breakdowns, and supervision format distribution.
